Freelance business & features journalist
I am a freelance journalist based in Southeast Asia covering features, tech, surveillance, and business. I won a Gerald Loeb award in 2018 after contributing to a Wall Street Journal series on China's surveillance state.
I also work as reporter/researcher with IPVM, a publication covering the video surveillance industry.
In 2017 I interned at the Wall Street Journal's Hong Kong bureau and previously worked as a news and business reporter for the Phnom Penh Post from 2014 to 2016.
I have a master's degree in business journalism from NYU.
